This is where I talk about one of my bulletproof kinks. Those things that you just can’t resist, even if the writing is dodgy or the picture cheesy. I can’t help it, I just have to read menage romances, and I also collect pictures involving threeways (or more). Here’s a few favourites I’ve found.

I think I like the cuddling best. As to bulletproof kinks . . . I can’t resist a bit of well-written D/s that focuses more on the psychological aspect of the dynamic than the external stuff like bondage/spanking/cock torture/whatever (although I’ve a certain weakness for figging) . Medical is beyond the pale for a lot of people, isn’t it? I think a bit of role playing could be fun, though. Uh, in a fic, naturally. I don’t dress up as a nurse in my spare time…
Oh, god, not the dreaded high class S&M club! One of the best D/s-centric stories I’ve ever read hardly contains any sex scenes at all; it’s all about the characters’ headspaces and it’s brilliant.
Is medical kink beyond the pale for a lot of people? I feel I may have lost perspective on this.

I think it depends how medical it gets, TBH. Forceps and speculum (specula?) in a sex scene might be taking things a bit far. I’m quite partial to latex examination gloves, though ;P

I refuse to buy 50 Shades too – I usually avoid over-hyped books, but when there are so many highly recommended BDSM books out there I haven’t read yet, why would I want to read a piece of Twilight fanfic?
I’m sure it has its good points, though. Some people really love it.

Yes, the emotional stuff is the draw. I don’t need any of the expensive toys and equipment if an author can get those elements of control and submission, and all the attendant feelings, to come across in a way that’s really compelling and hot.
