Today is the start of the six week school summer holiday, so this is my last regular post for a while. However, I’m pleased to say that I’ll have guest bloggers popping by every week, so watch out for posts by Chris Grover, Tara Lain, M.A. Church, Rachael Gilliver, Berengaria Brown and Anne Barwell.
I will also be starting a regular monthly blog column over at Cole Riann’s fabulous blog, The Armchair Reader, where I’ll be talking yarn, knitting and crochet. I’m hoping those posts will also be entertaining even for readers who’ve never succumbed to the siren call of needles and hooks. Watch out for a link to the first post tomorrow.
Over the holidays I’m going to be madly scraping together every bit of writing time I can in order to finish my novel version of Screwing the System (now at 44k), and I’ll be doing my level best to post some Storm and Lightning too, although I will have to prioritise the novel. Add into that, final preparations for the UK Meet in September, and I think I’ll have my work cut out for me!
I’ll also be gardening, playing with Daisy, visiting Longleat, going swimming and getting a kitten! If you want to keep up with me, I’m on Twitter most days as @JosephineMyles, and I’ll call in on Facebook periodically too.
Hope you all have a wonderful summer – I shall miss you.
PS – meant to blog about this yesterday but ran out of time: Lashings of Sauce is out now and it’s the best LGBTQ anthology money can buy (although I might be slightly biased here, I admit). Still with contributors like these, you can’t go wrong: Tam Ames, Becky Black, Anne Brooke, Charlie Cochrane, Rebecca Cohen, Lillian Francis, Elin Gregory, Clare London, Sandra Lindsey, JL Merrow, Emily Moreton, Josephine Myles, Zahra Owens, Jordan Castillo Price, Elyan Smith and Robbie Whyte.
