Hey everyone, long time no blog post–sorry about that. Life with a toddler is more time-consuming than I remembered, and when he finally goes to sleep the last thing I want to do is stare at a computer screen.
However, life is good, even if I never find time and head space to write anymore. I make sure I do a bit of sewing to satisfy my creative urges, and the kids are wonderful. Oh, all right, Andy is lovely too–he took me to Madrid earlier this month for a combined Christmas and 40th Birthday present. Yep, I’m now 40. Go me!
Anyway, I’m here today to let you all know–if you hadn’t already heard–that Samhain Publishing have finally closed their doors, which has left me with nine books temporarily off the virtual bookshelves. I’ll be doing my best to get them all republished over the next nine months (hopefully faster than that), but first I need to raise some funds for the cover art. I’ll be buying the rights to my favourite covers from Samhain, and having a few redone, all of which costs money. Money which I don’t have right now.
Enter my very first crowdfunding campaign: yes, for just nine USD you can have all of my Samhain backlist when I republish them. That’s nine ebooks for nine dollars. How good is that?! Here are my estimated release dates:
- March: How to Train Your Dom in Five Easy Steps
- April: Screwing the System
- May: The Hot Floor
- June: Junk
- July: Stuff
- August: Scrap
- September: Handle with Care
- October: Barging In
- November: Merry Gentlemen
Check out the Indiegogo campaign page for details of the other perks for different donation amounts. I’ll only be running this for thirty days, so even if it’s not for you, I’d be ever so grateful if you could pass the details on to anyone else you think might be interested.
Cheers lovely people!
Oh, and I’ve missed all you regular commenters. What’s been going on with all of you?
PS, Here’s some pics:
Woohoo! Happy release day to me! And to Andrew and Felix too, who get more than their fair share of “releases” during this smutty gay romantic comedy novella 😉
I’m actually posting this from the seaside, as you have to take your chances to get away in England whenever the weather is good. In an ideal world I wouldn’t have planned it for a release day, but at least it will stop me obsessively checking my Amazon rankings
So, here are the buy links:
Amazon |Smashwords | Kobo | Nook | All Romance eBooks
Its $2.99, and don’t forget that Tailor Made is now $0.99, so if you’re new to the series you can pick up both books for less than $4.00! Or less than £3.50 on Amazon UK
Right, I’m off to build a sandcastle with my kids, then scoff an ice cream, possibly while paddling in the sea #bliss
Happy reading, peeps!
It’s only available at Smashwords so far, but the other retailers will follow at some point. And best of all, you only have to wait till Tuesday 23rd to get your mitts on the book itself!
Also, I’ve been busy putting together a paperback of Tailor Made, which is now available on Createspace, and will be out on Amazon soon! I’ll have copies on me at the UK Meet, so let me know if you want to reserve one 😀
That’s all for now, folks, as I have to pick up the kids from my mum’s. And then collapse in a puddle because it’s so hot!
That’s right, By Quarry Lake is now available to buy! Currently for sale at Smashwords and All Romance eBooks, with the Amazon version hitting the virtual shelves by the end of the day (hopefully). And it’s only $0.99/£0.99!
Some of you probably already own this novelette as it first appeared three years ago in the Summer Lovin’ anthology (which is well worth a read what with those other superb stories by Lou Harper, JL Merrow, Clare London and Chrissy Munder), but for anyone who doesn’t, here’s your chance! It’s a sweet, coming out, first time story… but not so sweet that there isn’t some hot man on man loving going on (hey, this is one of my stories, what do you expect?!)
Want the blurb? Of course you do…
Still waters run deep…
Tommy’s been away from his home in rural Somerset for three years. Long enough to sort out who he is, and to get over the feelings of confusion and shame that blighted his lifelong friendship with farmer’s boy Rob. He’s out and proud, now—and he’s coming home to claim back what he lost.
Rob’s the one who stayed behind, working on the farm with little time for a social life. With Tommy coming back into his world, he could have a lot to gain—and everything to lose.
He’s going to have to take a leap of faith. Straight into the ice-cold waters of Quarry Lake.
Hope all of you are having a wonderful summer! I spent yesterday at Forest School with the rest of my family (so much fun!) and tomorrow I’m taking Daisy to see Matilda the Musical in the West End. So excited! Will write a proper blog post with all my news soon, I promise.
Got some news today! Fancy getting your mitts on Tailor Made and Blooming Marvellous for half the usual price? Of course you do! Then you’d better head on over to Smashwords and use the code SSW50 at checkout for 50% off! (Offer good through July 31, 2016)
Tailor Made | Blooming Marvellous
And if you’d like to get a look at Lou Harper’s gorgeous cover for my novelette, By Quarry Lake, you’ll find the cover reveal over on Sinfully Gay Romance Reviews 😀
What’s even better, is you can pre-order your copy on Smashwords right now!
Okay, that’s all for now, folks. Better run a bath for the kids before they destroy the living room… Oh, my glamorous life! 😛
Yep, it’s time for you all to get your hands on Truly, Madly, Boys: the latest book in the Mad About the Brit Boys anthology series–woohoo!
This time Jamie and I have gathered together four of our contemporary male/male erotic romance short stories, and I can honestly say I think this anthology is the best of the bunch. It contains a couple of my stories written back in 2010, along with a couple from Jamie. I’m particularly thrilled about this release as it contains one of the short stories I’m most proud of writing. Up until now “Without Words” was buried in a multi-author anthology from Xcite, that as far as I could tell never sold more than a hundred or so copies. It’s such a buzz to be able to get this story out in front of readers again.
JL Merrow’s contributions to this anthology are superb, too. Her opening story, “Epiphany”, was one of the very first I ever read by her and it made a huge impression on me when I was starting out writing. I reckon the rest of you will love it too
Anyway, you can get your mitts on a copy for the bargain price of $0.99/£0.99 over on Amazon here: http://mybook.to/trulymadlyboys
Happy reading, peeps!
PS, I’ll be back with a catch-up post about what I’ve been up to soon, I promise! The house move all got a bit hectic and I had to step away from social media for a bit, but things are settling down now. We’re all safe, happy and healthy, though. Hope you’re all doing well too xxxx
Or something like that, anyway. The latest in mine and JL Merrow’s series of anthologies, Mad About the Brit Boys, is finally out. This time it’s a collection of m/m/m ménage stories, called Boy Meets Boy Meets Boy. Don’t you just love Lou Harper’s cover art?!
This is an Amazon exclusive for $0.99/£0.99 (and where the hell’s that Euro sign? Oh yeah, there it is)/€0.99. Other currencies are available. Probably.
Buy it now! Go on, you know you want to.
Or you can read it on Amazon for free if you’re one of those Kindle Unlimited peeps.
The eagle-eyed may notice that this is my ménage story that originally appeared in the Necking anthology from Dreamspinner Press, along with one of Jamie’s stories.
That’s all for now. Happy reading, people! I’m getting back to my latest “gonna change my life” book, Getting Things Done. I can see where I’ve been going wrong and getting stressed as a result. I have a lot of organising to do, but am actually looking forward to it this time…
Yep, I scheduled a new release for my birthday. I must be insane! Anyway, here’s me with letting you know the deets. It would be absolutely marvellous if you could all buy this and send it to the top of the Amazon charts. What a wonderful birthday present! /hint, grovel, hint/
Einstein’s Peep Show is a fairly quick, fun read at 24,000 words, but hopefully sweet and sexy enough to give you all satisfaction. I’m guessing fans of my humour should really enjoy this one!
Buy it here!
You can also read a guest post about my research into cam modelling over on Sinfully Gay Romance Book Reviews today: http://sinfullymmbookreviews.blogspot.co.uk/2016/02/featured-guest-author-josephine-myles.html
Happy reading, peeps! Me and my mate Rach are off for lunch in a minute, and the sun is shining. Yay!
Love and hugs,
Yep, Locked Out is out today, just in time for Valentine’s Day!
The eagle-eyed among you will probably spot that this was originally part of the Brit Boys: on Boys multi-author anthology bundle. Well, now the exclusive contract period is over I decided to offer it as a standalone novelette. It’s a saucy romantic comedy, and at just 99 cents/pennies, it’s an affordable little treat
Clothing is overrated…
Getting accidentally locked out of his hotel room on Valentine’s Day night is embarrassing enough for teacher Martin Cooper, but the fact he’s stark naked makes it even worse. It doesn’t help that the one person he runs into is Rod, the gorgeous man he’d been checking out earlier in the hotel pool. But when Rod offers Martin a refuge, the night heats up. Now if only Martin could get the hang of this seduction business…

And much as I’d love to give you an update on everything that’s been going on in my life, I have a little boy walking around with no nappy on, so I’d better get going! Blog post coming soon…
Yes, my latest antho with the lovely JL Merrow is out now–exclusively on Amazon!
It contains two stories by JL Merrow which were previously published in Making Contact, an anthology from Dreamspinner Press. And my contribution is Insta-Love™, previously available as a standalone short from Dreamspinner, but has been unavailable for over a year now. We’re both thrilled to be able to put these science fiction shorts back in the hands of readers, and we hope they persuade a few more people to give sci-fi a try!
You can find the anthology for sale here, and there’s a guest post over on Sinfully Gay Romance with a giveaway too. JL Merrow and I argue over which is best, Star Wars or Star Trek. Come and share your thoughts!
PS: Andy would like to make it known he isn’t actually an alien, and I should stop making up stupid book titles 😛
